Ryan founded Activate Law, with the intent of guiding growing companies and start-ups to success, while simplifying the complexities of the relationship between law and business along the way.
After graduating from Capital University Law School in 2013, Ryan worked at multiple law firms and realized that the legal industry was lacking in certain areas and wasn't providing practical service to small businesses and founder lead companies.
Building on his diverse experience, Ryan was chosen to be the Columbus Small Business Concierge and helped businesses succeed and solve problems by connecting them with resources and providing strategic advice. Showing strong leadership in that role, Ryan earned a spot in Columbus Business First's 40 Under 40 list in 2019.
Combining his legal expertise, with the knowledge and understanding that was built during his time as a business concierge, he understood the mindset of a founder-led company and knew that Activate Law had an impactful role to play, and a community to serve in Columbus.
